Other expenses incurred by the injury

Travel expenses incurred by additional treatment may also be compensated for as other necessary costs incurred by the injury.  In addition, following compensation may be paid:

  • Care allowance, if the injured party in home care requires help in ‘personal activities’, such as dressing up and washing, and this results in extra costs for the injured party.
  • Increased home care costs, if the injured party requires help in the more strenuous housework and the household does not include other family members.
  • Clothing allowance, if the necessary aid devices required by the injury or their use causes wear or soiling of the clothes during living at home.
