Example cases
These example cases provide information on the grounds for compensation granted pursuant to the Patient Injuries Act and the Patient Insurance Act for injuries reported to the Patient Insurance Centre.
However, individual cases of injury can differ greatly, so it is not possible to fully determine whether a case is eligible for compensation based on the examples. Individual circumstances are considered in assessing the eligibility for compensation.
